Folk by the Oak is a one day festival of fine folk and acoustic music set in the leafy surrounds of Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. The organisers are putting tickets for the July 2015 festival on sale early this year, and to celebrate they have given us 2 tickets to give away to one lucky winner.

The acts announced so far include Mercury Music Prize nominees The Unthanks and Britain’s most successful traditional folk act Bellowhead. 

Folk by the Oak is renowned for bringing together some of the finest folk acts to create an uplifting summer’s day of fantastic music, which last year included guitar legend Richard Thompson, Brit Award winner Beth Orton and the ever popular Seth Lakeman. Folk by the Oak are also the driving force behind The Elizabethan Session, a project to create new music inspired by the Elizabethan era that has been met with rave reviews. 

The Festival also includes extensive craft and vintage tents, a recently expanded family area and an array of delicious food and drinks from around the world.
