Castlepalooza has today confirmed another twelve acts joining the line up for this year's festival including headliners CSS! The Brazilian foursome release their fourth studio album ‘Planta’ on June 10. It’s produced by TV On The Radio’s David Sitek, with lead single ‘Hangover’ already on the airwaves.
You can also expect past hits like ‘Let’s Make Love and Listen to Death From Above’, ‘Music is my Hot Hot Sex’ and maybe even lead singer Lovefoxxx’s collaboration with Kavinsky on the Drive soundtrack; ‘Nightcall’.
Eleven more well-respected Irish acts are also added to the bill with TIERANNIESAUR; COME ON LIVE LONG, MR WHIPPY SOUNDSYSTEM & LEX WOO, BORN CHEATING, BENTLEY RIDDIMS, OVERHEAD THE ALBATROSS, WATSONACE and TINY VINYLS all now confirmed with MELTYBRAINS?, BENNI SMILES and J ROOTS all added to the Breaking Tunes selection.
With a 3 Day Ticket including camping for just €79 plus booking fee for over 70 confirmed acts Castlepalooza continues to be THE best value festival in Ireland this summer.
Castlepalooza Music & Arts Festival 2013 takes place at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co Offalybetween Fri 2nd to Sun 4th August 2013.
In addition Castlepalooza asked Irish acts to apply through Breaking Tunes and received an incredible response from the extensive pool of up-and-coming Irish talent. Some acts confirmed so far are: CLU; GROUSE; HALVES; GHOST; MYLES MANLEY; LIZA FLUME; TORANN; THE NOTAS & SEPTEMBER GIRLS.
Along with a great line-up they also announce that the EAT MY SHORTS shortfilm showcase returns again while MONSTER TRUCK GALLERY will be bringing their contemporary visual art to the grounds of the castle.
There will be lots of other events to keep festival fans entertained, including the infamous Courtyard, a DAY SPA for those who party hard and need some tender loving care, a series of workshops involving all types of dance & crafts, Art Exhibitions and many more fun things yet to be announced.
Partnerships with Vodafone, Tullamore Dew, Red Bull, Jagermeister, RTE Radio 1, Kopparberg, Erdinger, Aer Lingus and Metro Herald, amongst others, will also help to make this the best Castlepalooza yet
Castlepalooza supports the Charleville Castle restoration project. A portion of each ticket will go towards the ongoing work carried out on one of Ireland’s most historic landmarks.
