Wychwood Music Festival 2013 taking place on the weekend of Fri 31st May to Sun 2nd June 2013 has announced Caravan Palace to play on the mainstage on the Saturday.

In the words of the FT, “Gypsy swing music with ooh-la-la insouciance married to a thumping beat”. Caravan Palace have been wowing festival audiences in 2012 from Secret Garden Party to the Boom Town Fair, and their November tour has been sold out for months!

Also to the mainstage on Saturday, the quintessential rock n roll out fit from Canvey Island, Eddie & The Hot Rods, and alt.folk-rock from the bewitching Moulettes- in the opinion of The Independent, the best band at Lattitude this year.

To the big Top on Saturday, Wychwood favourites, having just celebrated his 60th Birthday, the surreal delights of John Otway. Also in the big top, 6 Music’s Rebel Playlist winners, for an unprecedented 4th time this year, Public Service Broadcasting.

Last and by no means least in this first set of announcements is Sam Lee & Friends- Mercury Nominated with his debut album, “Ground of its Own”, and 2 Tone superstars, The Beat fusing ska, pop, soul, reggae and punk rock in their unforgettable dance classics.
