They are hooking up with Disney for this to celebrate the upcoming release of their new animated film Planes and we need your help!  

Roll up, roll up because this is happening on Saturday morning, 3rd August at 10.30am in Camp Bestival’s main arena The Castle Field. You’ll be part of a truly global event with people in countries such as Holland, Germany and Spain also taking part at exactly the same time. Each plane thrown will also have a special code allowing you to enter an exclusive competition to win some truly amazing prizes, including tickets to next year’s Camp Bestival. Disney’s Planes will be flying into cinemas on August 16th and is set above the world of Disney Pixar’s hugely popular Cars. This is a chance to be a part of history, so make sure you’re there to help us break the world record!

But that’s not all, as their Disney chums will also be hosting a special sing-along screening of The Jungle Book at 10am on Sunday morning. In anticipation of its Diamond Edition Blu-Ray (TM) release, the Castle Field will be filled with the glorious sights and sounds of one of the film world’s all-time greats, The Jungle Book. Featuring universally loved songs like King of The Swingers and Bare Necessities, kids will marvel at the definitive retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s saga and join in the singing as adults prove they know every single word. Definitely not something you want to miss.

Finally for now, their favourite baker and cake designer, the fabulous Lily Vanilli, will be judging the very first Camp Bestival Bake Off! So, dust off your beaters and roll up your sleeves to take part in this ultimate baking battle. Lily will be based in the Guardian Literary Institute on Friday morning to share her feedback and cast her judgement on your homemade efforts. So you’ll be able to prepare your wares at home before you leave for the festival – just make sure you get yourself a good travelling tin!
