Lakefest this morning have revealed the last of the headliners including the Buzzcocks who are widely regarded as the Godfathers of punk and are best known for their hit single ‘Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (You Shouldn’t’ve Fallen In Love With?)’ which peaked at no.12 in the UK charts back in 1978.

Buzzcocks confirmed for Lakefest 2014.

Joining the line-up is London based psychedelic rock band, Doctor & the Medics. You’ll know them best for their hit song, “Spirit in the Sky” that reached UK No.1 in the charts back in 1969. The third act is The Lightning Seeds who famously partnered with Frank Skinner and David Baddiel to write the song ‘Three Lions’ – which was played ahead of England’s Euro 96 football tournament.

To round off our final “big” announcement an act who contributed to the Britpop music scene that evolved during the 1990s. That act is York based indie group Shed Seven who will be performing their complex guitar arpeggios and smooth vocals sound at the festival in August.

Tickets are still available for the festival here

Lakefest 2014 takes place at Croft Farm Waterpark, Bredons Hardwick, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire between Fri 8th to Sun 10th August 2014.
