It will be a wonderful, FREE day out for fun with all the family including Have-A-Go-sports activities, music showcases and live cultural performances, every day from 29 August and 9 September between 11am to 10pm. Visitors to BT London Live Trafalgar Square will also be able to watch all the London 2012 Paralympic sporting action beamed in live, courtesy of Channel 4, the official Paralympic broadcaster, on a giant, 60m² state-of-the-art screen plus the chance to see the on-stage appearances from the ParalympicsGB medallists.

BT London Live Trafalgar Square operates a first-come, first-served entry system with no ticket required. Entry is subject to capacity.

Live Music continues to be a part of the BT London Live experience during the Paralympic Games, with performances taking place at 1:00pm every day from deaf and disabled artists including Denise Leigh, Lizzie Emeh, Signmark and Heavy Load.  Other artists will perform at 7:00pm and include The Beat, Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band, the Fabulous Lounge Swingers, London Calling and songs from the hit musical, Reasons To Be Cheerful. Absolute Radio (official national radio station of BT London Live) and Magic 105.4 (official London radio station of BT London Live) will be on board to interview the Paralympics GB medallists on-stage every evening and broadcast live programmes including Absolute Radio’s Breakfast and Hometime shows.

Aspiring athletes, disabled and non-disabled, alike, will be able to experience and try out a range of Paralympic sports including Sitting Volleyball, Judo, Athletics Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Tennis on the Have-a-Go Sports Court in what will be one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues for the 12 days of the Games. All equipment needed for each sport will be provided. There will also be free Table Tennis on offer around the Square.

The Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: "There is an incredible buzz around the Paralympic Games with justifiably high expectations about our fine athletes' medal prospects. With on screen action, great entertainment and have a go sports to try, BT London Live will be a terrific opportunity to feel a part of the action right in the heart of the capital and an exciting highlight of our Paralympic celebrations.
