BLUR, THE SPECIALS, NEW ORDER, BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB STAGE TIMES 

KEY OLYMPIC CLOSING CEREMONY MOMENTS SCREENED ON MAIN STAGE 

Organisers of the BT London Live Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert today confirmed performance times for all the artists performing at the sold out ticketed CCC Concert celebrating London 2012 in Hyde Park on 12 August 2012. 

Bombay Bicycle Club will open the event at 4.30pm, followed by New Order at 5.45pm. The Specials will then take the stage at 7.15pm and closing proceedings will be the much anticipated performance by BLUR, who are scheduled to perform a two hour set from 9pm. Between the bands performances key moments from the Olympic Closing Ceremony will be broadcast on the main stage including: The Extinguishing Of The Olympic Flame and the Rio Handover. 

London 2012 fans will be able to watch the whole of the Olympic Park’s Olympic Closing Ceremony live on one of BT London Live’s screens (number 5) in Hyde Park. BT London Live Victoria Park will screen BBC’s complete coverage of the Olympic Closing Ceremony from the Olympic Park. 

BT London Live has been a huge success with a total of over a million sport and music fans attending the events in Hyde Park and Victoria Park. Visitors enjoyed fantastic performances from acts including McFly, The Noisettes, Rebecca Ferguson and Alexandra Burke as well as appearances from Team GB Olympic medallists including: Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis, Bradley Wiggins and Nicola Adams. 

Organisers of BT London Live’s Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert would like to remind fans that the event this Sunday is a sold out ticketed concert and to only come along if you have purchased a ticket. 

The Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert on the 12 August will be Blur’s one and only performance that evening. 

In addition to appearances from sporting legends, BT London Live is broadcasting all the key Olympic sporting action on five giant screens, courtesy of the BBC and also showcasing a huge range of artists presented by Absolute Radio (Official national radio station of BT London Live) and Magic 105.4 (Official London radio station of BT London Live). Artists performing today include: The Temper Trap, Ocean Colour Scene and Feeder. Artists performing tomorrow include Park Carrack and The View.
