BSTK Festival Friday 8th - Sunday 10th July at Morris Farm, Stow Maries, Near Chelmsford Essex.

It's safe to say that BSTK is going through a period of change, and that's more than just its name, the site layout has changed dramatically, so has the  this years line up, which has a more coherent feel, while remaining loyal to its 'House Party' roots.

The Main Stage will once again play host to 'chart acts', however this year there is a greater emphasis on urban music, with the likes of Tinie Tempah, Kelis, Krept & Konan, Wretch 32, Ms Dynamite and Izzy Bizu.  In addition there will be performances from Mark Ronson, Scouting For Girls and Katy B,

For many The Good Shed is the heartbeat of BSTK, this year will see the arena not merely focus on Drum & Bass but incorporate, House and Grime.  The line up includes sets from Annie Mac, Netsky, DJ Yoda, Dusky, Heidi, Charlie Sloth, Yungen, Reeps One, Delta Hevy and what can only be described as an interesting set by The Cuban Brothers featuring The Jungle Brothers.

The Stumble Inn will once again be providing the best in Deep House plus new additions for 2016 Grime and Hip Hop.  This year's line up is the best to date with live performances from Big Narstie, Izzie Gibbs and Soul Purpose, plus DJ Sets from the likes of Mistajam, DJ Luck & MC Neat, De Nada, Faze Miyake, Billy Da Kid and many more.

While the three main stages are dedicated to dance and chart music, the festival doesn't forget its 'indie' heritage.  The Treehouse Stage - yes the stage is in a tree, hosts some of the fines indie bands in Essex together with some from slightly further a field.  The line up includes Tall Dark Friend, Asylums, Tallowah, Arcaves, Grizzly Bears, Creme De Chevre, Mullally, The Drama Llamas and from Macclesfied Cassia.

This year will see the Saloon Bar curated by local favourites and BSTK regulars Stealing Signs.  In addition to Stealing Signs the line up includes their alter egos Winston & The Lads plus Legion of Doom, The Midnight Barbers, The Southern Generals and many more.  The Saloon Bar will also play host to a Pub Quiz, Open Mic Sessions and Beer Pong.

In addition to all the music, their will be the usual shenanigans paint fights, roller disco etc, fairground plus a great selection of food traders together with beer and cocktails.
