Can you tell us what the band and what your music is all about?

We are a four piece band from South Shields northeast England and were just like an alternative rock band, not too heavy and not an indie band, somewhere in the middle and we just love making music together.

Can you tell us what your main influences are?  And do you have any individual influences?

As a collective we like Biffy Clyro, Manchester Orchestra, Taking Back Sunday, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Clash, Death Cab for Cutie, Brand New, and Jimmy Eat World, individually we all have a massive eclectic range, it kind of ranges from Rush, Mark knopfler, AC/DC, Motorhead, loads and loads of different bands even the Tygers of Pan Tang are definitely in there as well.

How did you all get together? Have you been together for a long time?

We were all friends long before we started this band, we were all in different bands going to the same gigs, same colleges and stuff, so we all knew each other and have been mates before we started this band, it has definitely helped us a lot by being friends.

You have had a lot of media attention at this present moment in time and just missed out on a chance to support Bon Jovi, what are your thoughts on that?

Yes we narrowly missed the chance and are a bit disappointed but the support we got was amazing, everyone getting behind us from the northeast was unbelievable.

I did vote for you.

There you go then.

How did you get into music?

That was our parent’s fault listening to so much different music and taking us to lots of concerts. They influenced us immensely and the osmosis was grafted. I think that we can all say that our parents have been a huge influence on what we do now.

Was your parent’s music on CD or vinyl?

Both really and cassettes also.

What are the first concerts you went to lads?

Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall (Jonathan Douglas), Gary Moore (Si Todd), Run DMC (Jonny Rob) and Alexisonfire (Gav Gates).

Have you got many things coming up this year, such as concerts, festivals?

We have a UK tour in June doing seven cities and then we are coming back to the northeast, we have a big home town show at Newcastle University 5th July only £5 to get in with more bands on.

 So who else is on?

Bands called Last Transmission, Fans of Fay, Hideaways and Atlanta Young.

Thank you lads for your time, my name is Garry Urwin Good Luck for the future.

Cheers Garry.
