Bjork, Ben Howard & George Clinton, Parliament & Funkadelic to perform Return to the Mothership have been announced to play at Wilderness Festival 2015 taking place at Cornbury Park, Oxford, Oxfordshire  Between 6th - 9th August. Also joining them is Roisin Murphy, Nick Mulvey, Nils Frahm, Caravan Palace, Hercules & Love Affair, Brandt Bauer Frick Ensemble, Benjamin Clementine, Ibibio Sound Machine and Will & The People.

The Travelling Folk Barn returns with with Front Room Songs, Woodburner Music, Two for Joy, The Local & The English Folk Dance & Song Society, The Wilderness Orchestra, Karaorchestra & The Wilderness Choir.

The Long-table Banquets will see ‘The Return of Angela Hartnett’, while the Feasting in Field Restaurants announces Hix, Moro, Petersham Nurseries and fine dining at The Chef’s Table is supplied by Nuno Mendes, Scott Hallsworth, James Knappett, Neil Borthwick. The Wilderness Cookery School with Daylesford Organic returns once more, with a stellar lineup that is yet to be unveiled.

For the night owls Wilderness has more than enough on offer as well, as Late Night Revelry returns for another year of fun and hijinks after dark, Grand Spiegel will be headlined by The Tiger Lillies, Camille O 'Sullivan and Ronnie Scott's with different, vibrant themes every night for revelers to dress up for as they head into The Valley. Other late night entertainment includes deep south Americana at The Juke Joint, gypsy swing & big brass bands at The Carousel Stage and the decadent The Candlelight Club offering their own glorious twist on nighttime debauchery. Along with aerial spectaculars from Gorilla Circus and a whole feast of delights in the Revellers Village, including side shows, performers, circus, theatre, camps and trickery, with Artful Badger, performance curated by the acclaimed Rumpus, Shotgun Carousel processions and performance, tarot readers, bonfire stages, late night bars, experiences such as the Travelling Gazebo Rave and glorious performances by Insect Circus Travelling Museum and the critically acclaimed Foolish People. Don’t forget to stop by Prangsta Costumiers and Masque the Rage for some dazzling attire before heading out into the night.

Theatre, Arts & Performance comes from Foolish People, Old Vic New Voices, Oxford Shakespeare Company, Acrojou, Son & Sons, The RSPLB (Royal Society of Pursuit of Love Birds), Friends of the Earth Camp,
Prince Charles Cinema, The Wilderness Orchestra, Diana Yukawa, Avi Avital, The Return of Champagne Laurent Perrier Orangery, Battersea Arts Centre – “The Archivists”, Opera Holland Park – “Alice in Wonderland”, Opera North – “The Devil’s Jukebox”.

Also, the Champagne Laurent Perrier Orangery returns for another decadent but all new go-round this year, along with the Princes Charles Cinema and Wilderness Orchestra, and there will also be an eye strobing Saturday Night Spectacular and a Sunday Night Fire Walking Ceremony. New additions for 2015 includes The Wilderness Studio - a new dedicated space for fine arts & craft workshops, as well as The Wilderness Choir to join the much loved Wilderness Orchestra for epic shows and unique collaborations. 

Elsewhere, there’s the Grand Spiegel, a Spiegel tent packed with performance and workshops to delight all the senses, complete with booths, seats and even a cocktail bar, all contained within an utterly beautiful tent. Through the weekend it will play host to a glorious slew of multi sensory delights including a sensory classical concert by BitterSuite, Perfume Making Workshops, Robin Collective Tastings, Cocktail Making Masterclasses, Synesthesia Seminars, and an Erotic Literature Salon, for the most sturdy of heart.

Alternatively, those with a penchant for more cerebral activities will find these cravings sated by the many Talks and Debates on offer at Wilderness, with a roster of participants including Guerrilla Archaeology, Sunday Papers Live, The Sunday Assembly, The V&A Talks and Workshops and lots more besides. As ever, too, there will be a staggering array of family activities so the little ones can be just as entertained as the adults, with the likes of Bearded Kitten’s Cricket Match,, Friends of the Earth Camp, The Hollow and Hunter Gather Cook Overnight Camps to make sure the whole family are well taken care of.

The gorgeous Lakeside Spa is already gaining world renown, but the Wild Wellbeing Sanctuary is also proving the ultimate place to escape to and just relax or indulge, with festivalgoers able to partake in Yoga, Meditation, Expert Massage, Luxurious Therapies and Facials and so much more. 

Jolt back into the present with a visit the Now Live Events Tent for Mindfulness workshops, artistic activities & talks from the likes of pioneering mindfulness expert Dr Tamara Russell, Action for Happiness and Belinda Freeman (Mindfulmind). 

For those of a more active disposition however, there are outdoor pursuits aplenty – hardly surprising when considering the heart-stoppingly scenic surrounds in Oxfordshire in which it is situated.
