Billy Ocean will headline Lytham Festival’s ‘80s V 90s’ themed night on Friday 7th August 2015 at Lytham Green. He will be joined by other classic acts of the era with Chesney Hawkes, Jimmy Sommerville, East 17, Sinitta, 5ive and Vengaboys.

Also confirmed is the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra joined by special guests Marti Pellow, Elaine Paige, Jonathan Antoine and Laura Wright who’ll take to the stage on Sunday 9th August. The much-loved format returns with both pop and classical elements across the festival.

Marti Pellow comments: "I'm just delighted to have been invited to perform on the last night of the Lytham Festival - it's going to be an amazing evening of some of my favourite songs of all time, it’s also a real privilege to be working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra again. I know we’re going to end up creating something very special that night."

As previously announced Sunday will also see the return to Lytham Festival of Britain’s Got Talent tenor Jonathan Antoine. Also to take to the stage will be young soprano Laura Wright.

Tickets starting at £32.50 go on sale this Saturday 20th December or a weekend pass (Thurs-Sun) £132.50.

These latest announcements form part of Lytham Festivals 12 days of Christmas where each day another detail of the forthcoming event has been revealed. Furthermore, the latest pieces of the puzzle unveiled are part of Lytham Festival’s expansion plans for 2015 which sees the event span a whole week and encompass not just music but also comedy and literary elements for all ages across multiple venues in the local area.
