Field Day 2013 at Victoria Park , Grove Road , Hackney , London , E9 5DU between Sat 25th May 2013 Tickets on sale here

Entering its seventh year, Field Day is returning to the leafy green surroundings of London’s Victoria Park on Saturday 25th May. Known for its eclectic and imaginative line-ups, Field Days dance side is as strong as ever. With previous electronic headliners Modeselektor, Justice, Moderat, Audion, Carl Craig’s 69, SBTRKT, Richie Hawtin and Jamie xx, this year’s Field Day continues to welcome the cream of the electronic crop and showcasing an abundant harvest of future stars.

Taking things in all musical directions are an army of talent including the sonic free form experimentalists Animal Collective, the cerebral and melodic Four Tet, hip hop hero Oneman, and rising stars Jagwar Ma showcase their sweet, seditious chant-rock melodies alongside London's most notorious electronic duo Mount Kimbie.

Also on the agenda are band of brothers Disclosure, performing their unique breed of garage-house that has catapulted them to dizzying heights and chart success. First-class aural delights are ahead from Daphni, the club friendly alias of Caribou’s Dan Snaith, Seth Troxler recently voted number 1 DJ by Resident Advisor, Bristol's original bass hero Julio Bashmore, and Montreal producer Jacques Greene, who will be playing LIVE and showcasing his modern combination of house and 2step.

Under the guise of Karenn, the perfectly matched duo formed by R&S labelmates Pariah and Blawan will unleash their mesmerising fusion of deep, bass-heavy sounds and the genre-crossing label Hessle Audio, a pioneering force in UK music, will be represented by its founding members Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound.  Hudson Mohawke and Lunice combine to forge TNGHT, taking root alongside the master puppeteer Ben UFO who has taken bass music out of dubstep’s shadow. All manner of new electronic wunderkinds lay the foundations of a solid electronic musical landscape including Daniel Avery, Happa, Koreless, Objekt, Throwing Snow, VOLTE-FACE, Shed, Clean Bandit, Psychemagik, Dollop and Kwes.

Hosted by forward-thinking promoters Eat Your Own Ears, Bugged Out!, BleeD/ Lanzarote and proudly partnering with The i Paper, The Quietus, FACT Magazine, Last FM, Resident Advisor, The Line of Best Fit, Abeano, Bleep and Dummy Magazine, Field Day is a festival that has become synonymous with imaginative and progressive bills hosting the likes of Franz Ferdinand, SBTRKT, Afrocubism, Grimes and Django Django last summer; 2013 is certainly shaping up to be no exception to this rule.

As with years gone by, Field Day will be providing ample entertainment for those looking for respite from the music in the Village Mentality area on The Village Green. Expect traditional side stalls inspired by country pastimes and weird and wonderful fete games, from classic tug of war, sack races and egg and spoon race to more unexpected and fantastic ones like tea bag tossing and the world famous winkle picking contest.
