COSMIC SAUSAGES – IT’S ANOTHER ‘NO’

We are sad to report that for the sixth year running, our efforts to bring the Highlands a taste of Cosmic Sausages , the London supergroup, have failed. “We are at our wits’ end as to how we can entice the Sausages onto the menu,” said festival promoter Joe Gibbs. “They have shown interest in the past, but when the chips are down, they just freeze. We just can’t imagine what their beef is.”

FEATURED ARTIST – VINTAGE TROUBLE – CATCH ‘EM AT BELLA

They call it Live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd, pelvis-pushing juke music. And that just about sums up what this hard driving, slick American soul and rock band put out. When they featured in April on Later... with Jools Holland, Vintage Trouble became the 6th most trending topic of the day on Twitter, attained the No 13 best selling digital album on iTunes, and had the No 5 all round best selling digital album on Amazon UK, beating out both Rihanna and the current Glee albums. Additionally, they had the No 2 best selling digital Rock album and the No 1 best selling R&B digital album on Amazon. The band joined Brian May of Queen and Kerry Ellis for a tour starting in early May 2011. Check them out at www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqnfXq6o_Fo and on Jools at www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsw4ipHcMvY.
