Aspiring DJ spinners going to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival (2nd and 3rd August; beauly, Inverness-shire) have an opportunity to play at Scotland’s number one boutique festival.

Bella is partnering with Headphone Disco to offer four 30 minute DJ slots over the course of the festival weekend. Lucky winners will get to perform alongside Headphone Disco’s resident DJs from the silent disco stage located in the Hothouse. They’ll take over one channel of Headphone Disco’s two-channel silent party for a full hour and perform in front of a potential audience of thousands.

Entrants just upload a 20 minute DJ mix to Soundcloud, forward the link to [email protected] and the judges will select the four best entries, each of whom will get the chance to shine from the big stage.

The deadline for entries is Monday 1st July and winners will be announced on the Bella Facebook page on Friday 12th July. The judges are looking for exciting mixes that inspire them, reflect the Bella vibe and ethos and which will work well in front of a typical Bella crowd. Get creative, think eclectic and let’s see if you’ve got what it takes to rock the party!*

This year, Bella patrons can buy e-tokens for their bar tokens in advance and exchange them on the way in at the box offices. Tokens can also be bought at the usual tokens booth at the event. And tickets are also available for the Portaloo Sunset posh toilets which will be sited at the top of the Red Campsite, near Mother’s Ruin. Tickets on sale vai www.skiddle.com. Campervan/ Caravan tickets have sold out.

Prices have been pegged at 2012 levels. Booking fees have been reduced on e-tickets and a new ticket deposit scheme has been introduced for customers wishing to buy full weekend tickets in installments. Bella has sold out each of the last four years, often months before the event so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.

The 2013 theme is ‘Carnival’, in keeping with the birthday party atmosphere the milestone event is bound to create.
