The 1975 and Nina Nesbitt have been added to the line-up for this year's sold-out Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Also added is classic reggae act Talisman, plus The Leonard Jones Potential, Elephant Sessions and High Life Fiddle Forte. Camp Stag and Dingus Khan play the goNorth Seedlings Stage as part of the BBC Introducing Programme. Also added to that stage are rising act Miniature Dinosaurs, Birdhead who are hotly tipped by Radio Scotland DJ Vic Galloway, Furry Vengeance and Fat Suit a 15 piece fusion band featuring current and graduate music students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and University of Strathclyde. 

Bella fans also have a chance to star this year in ‘Bella’s Got Talent.’ Ticket-holders have been invited to submit videos of their acts to [email protected] . The best will be invited to perform on the Venus Flytrap Palais stage on Friday 2nd August and four finalists will go forward to a final in the same venue on the Saturday.

Organisers are looking for all kinds of talent including dance, comedy and novelty acts as well as music. “We know there is a wealth of talent out there in the Bella community. We wanted to give people a chance to show it off,” said festival promoter Joe Gibbs

The UK’s northern-most major festival, and Scotland’s main family festival, Bella, as it is known to its fans, has sold out its 15,800 capacity in advance in record time, over six weeks before the event.
