Saturday December 1 marks a great leap forward for the Bamfest team. Today is the day that tickets for Bedale's first-ever Acoustic Music Festival go on sale.

The Bamfest Committee have been working behind the scene to get this Festival up and running. Like any new arrival it has had its ups and down but no-one can deny the team's passion to provide a fantastic line-up over three days in our North Yorkshire town. The Festival will run from Friday May 31st until Sunday June 2, 2013.

They have recently secured one of main concert venues - the historic Bedale Hall - and also announced this week that one of the finest blues-rock guitarists of his generation - Simon McBride - will be coming to Bedale. But it is our vision to have music wherever anyone wants it during the festival!

Full Weekend Tickets for earlybirds start at £42 for adults and just £10 for under-21's. These prices are available until March 31st. There are other ticket packages available - such as our session, ceilidh and camping ticket for just £22 - which will give access to events happening close to the campsite.

Camping is available very close to the town centre. The site will be open from 1pm on Thursday May 30.
