Saturday 19th July will see It’s back to the 80s, where the cream of the decade come to Delapre, Northampton, for an amazing night of great sounds.

Here And Now will see Bananarama, Rick Astley, Paul Young, Boney M, T’Pau and the Real Thing play in this historic open-air setting for a back-to-back, hit-only show.

The artistes topped the charts throughout the 80s – and 70s in the case of Boney M and the Real Thing. Here and Now brings them together for a unique show that has played to capacity crowds for the past 13 years.

Bananarama had a string of hits, including "Cruel Summer", "I Heard a Rumour" and "Venus" while Rick Astley will forever be known for his 1987 smash “Never gonna give you up”, which was a number 1 in 25 countries.

1980s idol Paul Young is famous for such hit singles as "Love of the Common People", "Come Back and Stay" and "Everytime You Go Away” while T’Pau will be playing their classic hits “China in Your Hand” and “Heart and Soul”.

Rounding off the night will be hitmakers from the disco era Boney M, who will always be remembered for "Rivers of Babylon", "Rasputin" and "Daddy Cool", and The Real Thing, who charted internationally with their song "You to Me Are Everything" that reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart.

Cllr David Mackintosh, Leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “Here And Now promises to be an amazing Saturday night out, with hit after hit that will bring back some great memories. I know it will be a great pop party for a summer’s evening at a beautiful parkland venue and complements the rest of our Alive at Delapre line-up.”

Tickets for the event will cost £39.25 (includes booking fee) and will go on sale on via Festivals For All on Friday 7 March at 9am.
