Reading and Leeds have announced that heading up proceeding on the comedy front are Milton Jones, Rob Delaney, Russell Kane, Katherine Ryan, Stephen K Amos (l) Adam Buxton (l), Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Holly Walsh, Abandoman, Nick Helm, Daniel Sloss, Tom Deacon, Andrew O’Neill, Joel Dommett, Tiffany Stevenson (r), Luisa Omielan, Matt Richardson, Alex Edelman, Dane Baptiste, Piff The Magic Dragon (l), Paul McCaffrey, Wit Tank (r), David Morgan (r), Mark Grist (l) & Suzi Ruffell (r).

Also added on the music front Jaguar Skills (l), Max Cooper (l) & George The Poet. Plus Transgressive’s Alternative Stage Takeover featuring: Wiley, Jackmaster, Novelist, Madame X, DJ Target + DJ sets from Alt J, Palma Violets, Jen Long and BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.

Finally Propaganda and Buttoned Down Disco, will be bringing their anthem-filled parties to the festival. Propaganda DJ sets: XFM, The Libertines’ Gary Powell (L), and The Kooks’ Hugh Harris (R) DJ’s Rave Karaoke (L) and Buttoned Down Disco.

Toby L, co-founder of Transgressive, comments: "Reading and Leeds is Transgressive's spiritual home, and our annual Takeover of the Alternative Stage is always a highlight of the year. As ever, we never want to repeat ourselves.

"In past years we have had everyone from Disclosure, SBTRKT, London Grammar, Warpaint, Foals, Metronomy, Johnny Flynn, to Laura Marling, Snakehips, Jon Hopkins, Two Door Cinema Club, Pulled Apart by Horses and Fuck Buttons come and play for us, often providing some of their earliest or first ever festival shows.

"Kelis last year raised the bar, and I cannot personally wait for this year's bill. Wiley is one of the most exciting performers around, while his catalogue speaks for itself, so we cannot wait for him and all our other special guests to come and smash it."
