AIM & CLUB FANDANGO PRESENTS:
THE LABELLED WITH LOVE FESTIVAL

PLUS
THE AIM SOCIALS

With the Labelled With Love Festival, an entire month of special gigs presented by the Association of Independent Music (AIM) and Club Fandango, plus the AIM Socials and the AIM Independent Music Awards, AIM are very excited to declare Indies Month!

Featuring some of the independent music sector’s most exciting bands, Labelled With Love Festival is a series of London gigs curated by independent labels running from the end of September until the end of October. From indie pop stalwarts Fortuna POP!, who kick off proceedings at the legendary Bull & Gate on September 22nd, to Fierce Panda’s Halloween party at Dingwalls on October 31st and a whole lot more in between, Labelled With Love will see the indie community painting the town red with some spectacular shows in the lead up to the AIM Independent Music Awards.

Alongside Labelled with Love, AIM are also delighted to be presenting the first two instalments of their newly launched AIM Socials as part of Indies Month. Taking place in East Village in Shoreditch, AIM Socials are a monthly gathering for the independent label community, each hosted by two contrasting independent labels.  Each Social will see label bosses, their staff and artists taking to the decks, giving a unique insight into the music that has inspired and shaped their labels, and providing a unique backdrop to networking.

The inaugural AIM Social held on 27th September will see Bella Union vs Ninja Tune with DJ sets from Ninja Tune's Peter Quicke and Coldcut, plus Bella Union's Simon Raymonde and I Break Horses.

The second AIM Social, held the Wednesday before the AIM Awards on 24th October, will feature Hospital vs Matador and DJ sets from Hospital's Chris Goss and London Elektricity, plus Matador's Natalie Judge and Esben and the Witch.

Indies Month will culminate in the AIM Independent Music Awards, taking place at The Brewery in Clerkenwell on 29th October. Hosted by Indie champions Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq, the ceremony will see AIM toasting the variety and creativity of the artists and labels that it has supported since its inception in 1999.

The full nominations shortlist will be announced next week.
