The national acoustic and unplugged festival returns to the racecourse in Uttoxeter this year over the second weekend of spring bank holiday, with another eclectic mix of artists. Chart topping retro artists include Midge Ure, The Blockheads and Paul Young.

International solo artists Dean Friedman, Nell Bryden and Judy Tzuke plus the multi-million selling front men from The Seahorses, I am Kloot and Terrorvision. European Blues award winning bands King King, Babajack and Glastonbury show stoppers The Jive Aces are just a few of the dozens of artists to be seen and heard.

The new live lounge will host many acts from the Comedy Club on Friday and Saturday and jazz on the Sunday.

The festival theme is Steam Punk and the Victorian Fantasia dress look will provide a very interesting look to this much loved family event. The organisers have made more emphasis on the festive art and creative look than in previous years, we will see open aired Morris, belly and clog dancing and dozens of hysterical colourful walkabouts, free body and face painting plus many craft workshops for the customers.

The festival dates falling into the school holiday break creates an affordable outlet for families, as children are only £5 per day and only £1 for toddlers, with dozens of children’s facilities on hand.
