Fishguard’s annual Jazz & Blues festival ‘Aberjazz’ announces an action packed programme for the thirteenth incarnation of this popular music festival held over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Expect a heady mix of old favourites and young bucks treading the boards at various venues across the famous and atmospheric old town of Fishguard, situated on the stunning North Pembrokeshire coast.

Courtney Pine leads the line with a Thursday concert at the town’s Theatr Gwaun, with Dale Storr’s New Orleans jazz piano set and festival favourites King Pleasure And The Biscuit Boys maintaining the standard of class acts throughout the weekend.

The town is positively kicking and alive with music over the long holiday weekend and provides an excellent base to explore the wonderful coastline of the Pembrokeshire National Park if you fancy taking a break from some of the excellent music on offer.

You can expect a full supporting programme of events, workshops and sessions to keep the festive mood bubbling along whatever your fancy.
