Download Festival have announced a further 70 bands for the 2022 edition which takes place from Friday 10th - Sunday 12th June 2022 at the home of rock Donington Park.  The latest additions include Deftones, Korn, Megadeth, Steel Panther, The Ghost Inside, Funeral For A Friend, Descendents, Electric Wizard, and Sepultura.

Deftones return to the Download Main Stage following the massive success of their ninth studio album ‘Ohms’, along with nu-metal legends Korn.  Other bands appearing on the main stage include: The Pretty Reckless, Rise Against, Theory, Black Label Society, and Monster Truck.

Grammy award winning thrash metal legends Megadeth will be headlining the Second Stage on Friday night. Saturday will see the wild antics Steel Panther in their lurid spandex.  Also appearing on the Second Stage across the weekend: The Distillers, The Darkness, Airbourne, Skillet, and Daughtry.

US metalcore troupe The Ghost Inside will be coming back to Download for the first time in 7 years when they headline the Avalanche Stage on Friday night. Saturday will see Funeral For A Friend top the bill while see Descendents will be closing the Avalanche tent on Sunday night.

Also appearing on the Avalanche Stage across the weekend: Boston Manor, Sleep Token, The Faim, Trash Boat, Marianas Trench, grandson, Holding Absence, and Wargasm.

Often referred to as “the heaviest band in the universe”, Electric Wizard will headline the Dogtooth Stage on Friday night. Saturday will see Sepultura topping the bill.

Also appearing on the Dogtooth Stage across the weekend: Blues Pills, Dying Fetus, Bleed From Within, Twin Temple, Venom Prison, and Bokassa.
