Download Festival, has announced a further 23 bands including Slayer, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater, Lamb of God, and Eagles Of Death Metal, joining previously announced headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool at Donington Park.

Slayer will be making their final UK appearance at Download 2019 after 37 years, The Smashing Pumpkins will make their debut Download Festival, returning after 10 years are prog-metal titans Dream Theater, along with groove-laden modern metal heavyweights Lamb of God, good old 'rock n rollers' Eagles Of Death Metal.

Also added to the bill are Maori-metal trio Alien Weaponry, heavy-metal powerhouse Anthrax brooding rockers Badflower, industrial noise-punks Black Futures, and Atlanta southern rockers Blackberry Smoke.

Others set to appear at Download 2019 are: I Prevail, The Interrupters, Jinjer, Man With A Mission, nothing,nowhere, Our Last Night,  Riding The Low,  Royal Republic, State Champs, Underside,  Whitechapel, Yours Truly, and Zebrahead. 

Download Festival 2019 takes place on Friday 14th - Sunday 16 June 2019 at Donington Park, Leicestershire.  Download is the UK's largest metal/heavy rock festival, and has a proven record in attracting the brightest and the best bands of the genre.
