Slaves added to The Great Escape 2017 line up

The Magic Gang, Marika Hackman, Stefflon Don, Avelino, Dream Wife, Buvette, The Japanese House, 67 and HMLTD are among the 100 acts added to the line up of this year's The Great Escape.  The Great Escape 2017 takes place from Thursday 18th - Saturday 20th May at various venues throughout Brighton.

Slaves are set to perform a 'Pier Party' which will take place on Brighton Pier, the event will be ticketed,

The Great Escape kicks starts the festival season, introducing the artists and sounds of 2017. With over 300 bands playing in 30 venues over 3 days. In addition to pre-publicised performances, impromptu street gigs spring up all over town. In addition to the music there are 3 days of seminars where the movers and shakers of the industry host debates and workshops.

Kevin Moore, Event Manager said: “It’s brilliant to be able to get out of the traps in January announcing 100 of the best new bands around joining the line-up for TGE 2017. And we cannot wait for Slaves to perform at the end of Brighton Palace Pier for what is going to be one of the biggest shows we have ever produced at the festival – it’s going to be one of those legendary “were you there” moments, no doubt about that. Roll on May!”
