100 acts added to Sound City line up including The DMA's

Sound City have announced a further 100 acts for this year’s festival including headliner DMA’s. Joining the DMA’s on Saturday will be previously announced The Slow Readers Club, plus Picture This, Idles, Wye Oak, and Black Honey. Sunday will see Sunset Sons, Yellow Days, Baxter Dury, Jaws, and Dermot Kennedy joining the bill with previously announced headliner Peace.

This year Sound City will be moving back to its roots in Liverpool City Centre. The festival will take over the historic Baltic Triangle and Baltic Market venues, including Baltic Market, Constellations, New Bird Warehouse and Hangar 34, from Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th May.

Sound City 2018 will once again deliver the very best of breakthrough acts and major names both from the UK and abroad. It will also host of independent record label parties and showcases, collaboratively working with a broad range of innovative partners.

Other acts added to the bill include Jade Bird, The Blinders, Gaffa Tape Sandy, Sorry, Sam Fender, Billie Marten, Matt Maltese, Saint Phnx and Stereohoney.

The new urban and grime side of Sound City will host, Shaodow, Vital. Beyond Average and Juke.
