Towerfest 2014 Overview

Towerfest is and open air country music festival held in the shadow of Drax power Station in North Yorkshire. Three days of country music and line dancing with fourteen live acts plus DJ and Compere to keep it all in full swing. Excellent camping and caravanning facilities in this secure site help to make this Yorkshire's premier open air festival.

This will be the eighth Towerfest festival and it becomes more and more popular each year. Many people re-booking before they leave and an amazing return rate of 92% of customers from 2012 to the 2013 festival. The events westerners and anyone wanting to join them have a competitive shootout, rifle shooting, knife throwing, horse shoe throwing and much more. With all the proceeds from their events going to a nominated charity. Before the last act on the Sunday evening there will be a spectacular Trilogy where many of the westeners march into the arena in full military uniforms to perform this traditional commemoration to the American Civil War.

Many trade stands surround the arena with authentic western goods and trinkets. The fully licensed club has also excellent facilities to offer. Booking for camping is important and also for the Friday night which is in their club house.  Day visitors will be made welcome on the gate Saturday and Sunday but can save money by booking in advance. Friday night is always all ticket as it is in the club house.
