Alongside the amazing weather the music on offer on Friday was equally as great with a headline set from The Cribs (who last played Truck 10 years ago) drawing a massive crowd to the main stage with a career-spanning set of their indie rock anthems. After the festival they tweeted "Thanks to everyone at @TruckFestival You blew our minds. Such a beautiful day and festival. Hopefully won't take us 10 years to come back!"

Other highlights included a sun soaked set from Birmingham’s Peace on the main stage, Brighton rockers Blood Red Shoes on The Barn Stage, dance music’s pioneers Jaguar Skills and Julio Bashmore bringing the Barn to breaking point, plus a stunning set from Oxfordshire’s own Poledo on the Veteran’s and Virgins stage.

Saturday saw a few lucky dodges of impending lightning and bad weather and with the exception of a morning rain shower, the site stayed dry and was again another predominantly hot day.

White Lies were the Saturday night headliner's went down a storm with their huge anthemic indie rock, Andrew W.K turned the Barn into the biggest party it has ever seen, secret Vetrens and Virgins headliners Danny and Champions of the world playing to a bumper crowd, and Stornoway returned to Truck, which has a special place in their heart, they said of their time at the festival:

“We had an amazing time at Truck. It was the first festival we played…it still has the same home grown feeling”

Festival Organiser James Goodall said, “This has been an amazing year for Truck, we would like to thank all the festival goers for creating such an amazing atmosphere and getting involved with everything the festival had to offer. It was just dope.”
