The Cure announced as latest headliner for BST 2018

The Cure are the latest headliner for British Summer Time 2018.  2018 will see the band celebrate the 40th anniversary of their first single 'Killing an Arab'.  The appearance at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 7th July will be The Cure's only European appearance of 2018.

Formed in 1976 at school by a teenage Robert Smith in Crawley, Sussex, The Cure is one of Britain’s most influential and distinctive bands. They have helped shape the post punk musical landscape in the UK, bringing alternative rock to charts around the world. 

The Cure join previously announce headliners: Eric Clapton Roger Waters, Bruno Mars and Michael Bublé

Joining The Cure will be Interpol, Goldfrapp, Editors, Ride, Slowdive, and The Twilight Sad

Barclaycard British Summer Time, is a unique festival offering, each live music-packed weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse entertainment, accessible for all to enjoy.

Each weekend will see live music over four stages in ticketed events.

From Monday to Thursday, the entire site, saved for the main stage, will give visitors the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events offering film, music, literature, sport and a specific family day that will expand the experience to genuinely appeal to the whole family.

Sunday 8th July - Eric Clapton, Santana, Steve Winwood and Gary Clark Junior.
Friday 13th July - Michael Bublé.
Saturday 14th July - Bruno Mars, Kahlid.
