Secret Garden Party 2011 Overview

The Secret Garden Party is a temporary community that is as free, irreverent, friendly and engaging as it is possible to be. It is conceived as a moment in the year where you can connect to your creative powers, explore your wildest fantasies and meet thousands of people who all want to meet you. It is a gathering that exists for only four days - away from cities and schedules, brands and boundaries – founded on participation and with the potential to change your life. It is a festival of the arts…where everyone is the artist.

To truly understand Secret Garden you must walk through the festival gates as if Monday was never destined to arrive and everyone you are about to meet will be the love of your life. Buy your ticket, pitch your tent, turn off your phone…then relax and float downstream. See you in July.

The whole event is geared around experiences – expect much much more than great music. Games, parades, arts & cookery events, theatre, and a host of other entertainment are all in the mix to create a truly eclectic weekend.

Ticket prices (from):
Adult: £155
Teen: £125
Under 12: Free when purchased with adult ticket
Tickets include 4 day event camping & parking.

Secret Garden Party 2011 Event Info

The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Origins & Frontiers’ and specific event and activity details have yet to be finalised.

SGP offers a huge variety of participant events and activities, coupled with a 24*7 party vibe. More stages & general mayhem are promised for 2011, but expect boutique camping offerings, quality restaurants, and facilities as the norm.

Disabled Information:  SGP is an inclusive event. You will need to purchase a relevant full price ticket; this MUST be purchased in advance. You are entitled however to bring a carer who will get a 50% discount ticket payable on the door on arrival at the festival ONLY on presentation of valid disability card. The Garden has some hills and some water ways which may make it difficult for some people to access some areas. ALL areas are however fully accessible. The car park has disabled parking at the nearest point which is roughly 100m from the festival entrance and then a short 50m into the campsite. The ground is generally good & hard, however rain can quickly change things. Strobe effects will be used in the covered arenas, where there will also prolonged loud sounds that may cause damage to hearing. Ear defenders are available from the information stand.
