PKD Festival and East Coast Bike Show 2015 Overview

The PKD Festival in Dalgety Bay Fife returns in July to a new venue. The event offers 20 live bands, The East Coast Motorbike Show with all the world’s top manufacturers, over 50 community stalls, over 30 inflatable activities in the kids zone, a food court and a fully licensed bar.

The venue has changed to The Dalgety Bay Sports centre. The bigger venue allows for several additions for PKD 2015. These will include fairground rides such as Dodgems, waltzers, tea cups for the kids and more. It will also see the addition of a second stage allowing for more bands and less time between band changeovers. There will be more bike exhibitors than ever before and the number of community stalls will be more than doubled.

This year event also sees a change of charity partner. All money raised from the event will be going to Kingdom Kids, a children’s charity run by Kingdom FM benefitting sick and underprivileged kids in Fife and Poppy Scotland.

Opening Times: The event will open at 10am with the arrival of hundreds of motorbikes as part of their Rumble the Towers event for Poppy Scotland. Bike Show open from 10am / First band on stage 11am.

Camping: No camping at this event – check out our ‘Find Nearby Hotels’ tab for other options.

Ticket prices (from): Due to the expected size of this year’s event organisers have made the decision to make it entry by ticket only. Entry to the East Coast Bike show will still be free, but entry to the main arena will be £20 for a ticket. As it is still being billed as a family friendly event this ticket will include a free child ticket (under 16). All tickets will entitle unlimited rides on the fairground rides and unlimited play for the kids in the kids zone. Additional kids tickets can be purchased for £5 each and will also include an unlimited play band.

Artists booked to appear include Big Country, Bruce Foxton's From The Jam, X Simple Minds (the original Simple Minds line up), Animals & Friends and Kirsten Adamson (daughter of former Big Country singer Stuart Adamson).
