The Phoenix Alternative Festival which takes place from August 14 - August 16 at Llanfyllin Workhouse, in Mid Wales, are this year raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support, as well as the workhouse Charity.

Expect some great music from the likes of Dr and the Medics, Ash Mandrake, and BB BlackDog … plus a Crafty Area to indulge your creative side - 'The Craft Punkery, 'Discover your inner tube' make funky things like belts, pouches, costume accessories etc.( with Keelin.) Customising Hat Workshop (Bring a hat and funk it up!). GreenScreen Photo studio available! Kids Area and more.

You can also expect BUNK BEDS ON SITE - With use of Kitchen, showers toilets etc / 26 bunks in 3 rooms located in the front range of this historic building / £15 per bunk per night including clean linen and duvets/pillows.

Self-catering kitchen electric hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave and Self-catering kitchen toaster / fully accessible unisex toilets and hot showers / Fire pit with outdoor seating and cob oven / Extensive gardens and grounds to explore and enjoy.

Ticket prices (from): Adult Weekend £40. Camping £5 per tent per night.  Proceeds from the Camping, Drink and food plus a collection go to the workhouse Charity.
