Download Festival is the UK's largest metal/heavy rock festival with a capacity of some 110,000, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023 and will be a four day event starting on Thursday 8th June.

Reinforcing the location's legacy as rock 'n' roll's spiritual home, Download welcomes heavy metal and rock icons each and every year. 

In addition to the music, Download has regularly partnered up with wrestling brands including WWE and NXT UK to bring some of the sport's superstars to the festival, while the infamous inflatable Wedding Chapel, Circus of Horrors and musical comedy continue to entertain. 

And once the Arena's music has finished, the campsite's after hours zone keeps things running until 2am on Friday and Saturday with bars, funfair rides, and even a cinema. 

The campsite opens a day before the festival starts in the main arena. When it comes to glamping options Download's RIP packages are probably the best on offer, including access to a real campsite (yes permanent showers and toilets with pub), hotels, yurts, squirts you get the picture.
