Brothers Cider gives away a summer of festivals

Brothers, the UK’s fastest growing major cider brand, have announced an amazing competition to win ‘Weekends of Freedom’ throughout the summer. Winning the top prize is guaranteed to make this summer one you’ll never forget – it includes tickets to ALL the best festivals where Brothers is available, £1,000 cash, an iPhone and 20 cases of cider – and quite possibly a cult following online!

All you have to do is make a short video which shows off your festival presenting skills to the max and post it on www.brotherscider.co.uk/bff by 21st May. You choose – it could be:

A report from a shower (cos it’s bound to rain)
A report from a stranger’s shoulders (cos you’ve got to see the band!)
A report in fancy dress (cos who knows what you might end up wearing)

At Brothers we hate rules, so we’ve kept things simple. Your video should be no more than about a minute long. Whether it touches on music, your friends, the best cider in the universe, that fantastic sense of festival freedom or something completely nuts is totally up to you.

If you win you’ll become the ‘Brothers Festival Friend’ and you’ll get to send us a video from SW4, Parklife, Beach Break Live and all the other great festivals. You might even be asked to carry out some random ‘tasks’ voted for by Brothers Facebook Fans – stuff like interviewing someone famous or wearing a mad outfit while giving away free cider. You’ll even be given your very own Brothers blog.

The Top 10 videos will be voted for by Brothers Facebook Fans with the winner being chosen by The Brothers themselves. The runners up will be given pairs of festival tickets and up to 1,000 others will be sent Brothers Festival packs, containing a Festival Flag, a lanyard and a badge. So put your thinking cap on, jump in front of the camera, dust off your wellies and get ready for festival freedom!

In 1995 Michael Eavis offered the Brothers space for a bar at the Glastonbury Festival, near the Jazz World Stage, but with sales restricted to Perry based drinks. When the offer of “Perry” was met with little consumer understanding the Brothers would describe it as “like cider but made from Pears” and after repeating this tens of thousands of times the short hand “Pear Cider” was introduced and understood for the first time in the UK.
Brothers produce a range of pear and fruit ciders including:
The Original Pear (5.0% abv)
Festival Pear Cider (7% abv)
Bittersweet Apple (5.5% abv)
Strawberry, Toffee Apple, Ginger and Tutti Frutti mixed pear ciders (4% abv)
