The UK Festival Awards returns to The Roundhouse in London for its 11th edition on Monday 1st December.
Among the categories you can vote for are Best Major, Medium and Small Festival, The Grassroots Festival Award, Best New Festival, and many more voting is now open here.
Winners will be decided by a combination of online public vote and industry jury panels.
Public voting runs from 6th to 27th October, with the final shortlists being announced on 4th November.
In 2013, over 300 festivals took part in the UK Festival Awards, Tickets to the Awards ceremony, on December 1st, are available now here.
UK Festival Awards Director, Steve Jenner commented: “With more festivals applying to take part in these Awards than ever before and a very healthy crop of entries for Best New Festival, we are definitely sensing a level of increased confidence in the market this year, in relation to previous editions. It will make for an exciting Awards and we can’t wait to see what the outlook is like from the public’s perspective."
As an incentive, everyone that votes can enter a prize draw to win a ‘Dream Summer’ – two VIP tickets to every festival that wins an award.
Fans that want to go a step further in helping to improve the festival landscape can also take part in the largest market research survey ever undertaken in the festival market – the 2014 Festival Awards Census – for a chance to win an iPad mini.
As well as the public voted categories, the UK Festival Awards features a number of more specialist prizes, which are decided by juries of industry experts. These include Promoter Of The Year, Best Use Of New Technology, The Extra Festival Award and The Brand Activation Award. The shortlists in these are announced with the public-voted ones on Monday 4th November.
