Mumford & Sons have received 3 nominations for the BRIT Awards 2013.  

The band feature in the Best Live Act and Best Group categories, with their second album 'Babel' nominated for ‘Best Album’.    

It equals the same number of nominations that the band received at the Brit Awards 2011 where they won ‘British Album of the Year’ for their debut LP, 'Sigh No More'.   

Since its release in late September 2012, 'Babel' has now sold over two million albums globally, and achieved double platinum status in the UK.
