Moya's new single ‘Come and Get It’ bursts with an attitude we’ve yet to see from the 22-year old singer. Piano driven, armed with a killer hook and vocals that are clearer and brighter sounding than ever before, it’s clear Moya is on the path to something big.Watch the official video here...

‘It’s soulful and laidback, but still packs a punch,’ saysMoya. ‘I wanted to write a song that matched the soulful parts of my voice and I think ‘Come and Get It’ achieves that.’ And the song’s actual meaning? ‘It’s about manning up,’ says Moya simply. ‘About realising you have something good and manning up to realise the error of your ways, before it’s too late.’

At only 22 and less than a year since ‘Making Me Fall’ hit the BBC Radio 2 A List,Bournemouth born Moya has had the busiest six months of her life. After kicking off the year touring with ex-Razorlight Andy Burrows, she nabbed the support for Simply Red legend,Mick Hucknall’s UK tour, playing to thousands across the UK and Ireland. And before the tour had even ended she got her biggest gig yet - Special Guest for Rod Stewart’s 14-date UK/EU arena tour.

Following his recent Number 1 album, Rod hit the road with Moya, with sell out shows including two nights at London’s mighty 02. “An unbelievable learning curve,” concludes Moya.“I never thought I would be able to play arenas so early on in my career and I feel really privileged to have supported such a legend.”

‘It’s also made me realise I’m much more comfortable playing arenas. In small venues everything is so intimate that it’s actually quite daunting. But in arenas there’s that distance which enables you to get lost in the music. I’m in more control now. And it’s let me become the performer I want to be.’

It’s obviously paid off as she’s quickly becoming the go to support for some of the biggest names in music, with another invite to open for Blondie at Camden’s Roundhouse, there’s also numerous talks for other big tours later this year. She’s was also booked for festival appearances at V Festival and T in the Park.

With all this going on, it’s no surprise, critical acclaim, press and YouTube views continue to rise. With recent support coming from the likes of The Independent, Q, Metro, and The Daily Mirror Moya’s video views have continued to climb, with her last single, ‘A Little More Love’ now at well over half a million views alone.

Moya’s breakthrough came late last year when her single ‘Making Me Fall’ took the airwaves by storm spending 3 weeks on the BBC Radio 2 A-List. With interviews and countless plays across the station, including The Chris Evans Breakfast Show and Ken Bruce, ‘Making Me Fall’ even broke onto Radio 1, with support from Fearne Cotton. Even Hollywood bloggerPerez Hilton was won over, branding Moya ‘the female Bruno Mars.’

Moya is currently putting the finishing touches to a new EP, which will feature the new single ‘Come and Get It,’ alongside five other new tracks.
