One of Festivals For All all-time favourite festivals, the wonderful Lakefest returns to the hallowed Herefordshire fields 11th-14th August 2022.

Now in its tenth year, our reviewers have watched the event grow from humble beginnings to frankly one of the best UK festivals in its class. It simply is one of the best sub twenty thousand capacity events in the country. Trust our FFA Reviewers here.  Take a read of our Lakefest 2021 Review for just a snippet of the wealth of happenings going down over the extended weekend.

Some festivals are sterile affairs and never become more than bands in a field with camping - no matter how long they’ve been in business. Not at Lakefest - you can feel the VIBE as soon as you approach the site.  The place is buzzing. You think you’ve been to atmospheric festivals before?  Check in to Lakefest and feel the difference. Lakefest is a family, a wonderful sea of goodtime emotion. The Lakefest crowd create their own magic. Everyone plays their part. There is a sense of community and togetherness here that will make the spine shiver.  Yep – it’s that good!

Although 2022 boasts acts of the calibre of Manic Street Preachers, UB40, Supergrass, Leftfield, Afro Celts, and Seth Lakeman, the bands are only a fraction of what makes Lakefest so special. Across its multiple stages, there is all manner of malarkey – from spoken word and comedy, to a dedicated Retrospective of House music stage. There is a large dedicated kids area, plus funfair, stunning BMX displays, and oh, did we mention that the Red Devils parachute display team are performing a number of jumps over the weekend, including a night drop!  Remember too that the infamous Lakefest Silent Disco is simply one of the best around. Lakefest is truly a family friendly bash catering for all ages and interests, whilst also satisfying the late-night cabaret and EDM party people. Lakefest covers all the bases and ticks all the boxes.  Listen, we are only scratching the surface … Check out more of what’s going down in 2022 HERE.

There is still some late ticket availably, so join our intrepid FFA Reviewers for a weekend to remember.
