The first band in the world to obtain access and performing rights to the full archives of "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" from Peter Gabriel and Genesis.

Firstly we’d like to know why you chose to cover Genesis

I was a fan and very fascinated with their artistry. In the French part of Canada they had quite an impact in the early 70’s and there was a trending loyalty to Genesis. Being in that environment and being a musician I was influenced by what they had created, and took it upon myself and those working with me to recreate it

The Show was a bit of a mystery at the time of release and I was really fascinated by it. I wanted to understand what they had created by going beyond listening and researching it.

What reaction/ feedback do you get from the fans who come to see it.

Every concert we are seeing younger people showing up. After the concerts people feel moved and touched and come again. ‘The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway’ was the last piece of work between Peter Gabriel and Genesis. They never filmed that concert so it was like a myth and people want to know what the show is about. Huge amounts of fans discovered it later and wanted to know the essence of it, as it was so Avant Garde.

Is it true that sometimes Steve Hackett and Phil Collins join you on stage and perform it with you.

Yes both Phil and Steve have performed with us on tour and it is very flattering that they give us such support. They also help us to be more accurate in how we present our show without changes or modifications. Everybody who worked in the earlier shows made it more real and colourful in the way we wanted to portray the work. Phil has also in the past played the part of himself at the end of “The Lamb lies Down On Broadway” . They are both very generous and down to earth. The old version and old songs are very special moments and Steve is planning a visit for our performance in Switzerland.

So what should people know about the show

The concert itself always sells and everywhere people are very curious about it. So little is known about the concert it’s sometimes referred to as a myth and we feel it is misunderstood. But for what it’s worth the theatre show concept is an important piece of work and that’s what we are about.

What people see is exactly what happened in the early days; how advanced Genesis were in their career and the last time Peter Gabriel worked with the band. It’s a “must see”.
