2011 looks set to be a great year for FLOGGING MOLLY. After the fan-only London Garage show sold out instantly and the release of new album Speed of Darkness, FLOGGING MOLLY will return this November for a full headline tour, including two UK shows at London’s HMV Forum and Manchester's Academy 2.

Fresh from a stunning set at this year's Glastonbury Festival and a string of headline European festival shows, the legendary 7-piece Celtic punk ensemble will be playing tracks from their recently released Speed Of Darkness album in amongst a host of Flogging Molly classics…

Consummate live performers, these shows should not be missed.

Nothing has mattered more to Flogging Molly than their new record, Speed of Darkness. It marks the debut of Flogging Molly's own record label Borstal Beat, which they founded after a great run with SidenOneDummy, their home for the last decade. The new chapter in the band's life also makes perfect sense: they're more independent than ever, more themselves than ever.

Recorded with producer Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Avett Brothers), “Speed Of Darkness” was released worldwide in May this year.  The album debuted at #9 in the US Billboard charts and has delivered a host of top chart positions around the world.  ‘Speed of Darkness’ follows up FLOGGING MOLLY’s acclaimed 2008 release ‘Float’, which has gone on to sell over 80,000 copies in the UK and Europe.
