The wonderful British festival institution that is Fairport's Cropredy Convention returns to lovely Oxfordshire 8th-10th August 2019.

Forty years old and marching on as strong as ever, Cropredy continues to be one of the flagship events of the English Summer. Rightly so, of course, as it’s classic brand of all things folk related continues to deliver some of the greatest exponents of the genre to grace a stage over a packed weekend of fine talent. Cropredy again proves that ‘folk’ is a broad church which encompasses acoustic, roots, rock, and all points in-between. The 2019 line-up is arguably one of the best yet, with artists of the status of The Waterboys, Gogol Bordello, Frank Turner, Richard Thompson, Martin Simpson, Caravan, Seth Lakeman, and Martin Barre rocking up a storm. Not forgetting that this is Fairport Convention’s own bash – with a couple of performances over the weekend by one the most influential bands of their generation. Remember too that the pubs in Cropredy village host their own ‘Cropredy Fringe’ events, with even more fine bands on offer. It all comes together to produce a great weekend.

Our FFA reviewers simply love Cropredy – take a read of the FFA Fairport's Cropredy Convention 2018 Review for just a flavour of what Cropredy has to offer.

There is still some limited ticket availability at £145 pp for the full three nights, plus £45 per vehicle for camping and parking. Check out tickets HERE.

Why not join FFA in the North Oxfordshire sunshine for another classic Cropers.
