10th Aug: Sound of Whartone with Richard Dinsdale and Sonny Wharton.

Tonight, Sound of Whartone will be headlined by Richard Dinsdale and Sonny Wharton for house music all night long.

Big room sounds: big league DJ. During a short but precision-formed career Richard Dinsdale has achieved more than many can muster in a whole lifetime. Talent spotted by Seb Fontaine, he sharpened his DJ skills at London’s long-missed notorious nightspot The Cross. Headhunted by Ministry Of Sound, his residency taught him the winning formula for grooves that chatter an international patter. A card carrying member of Mark Knight’s mighty Toolroom Records stable, his passport and dancefloors were both stamped heartily with approval no more than two years after his first release on Kinky Vinyl.

Renown for his technical abilities both in the studio and DJ booth, Sonny is the UK ambassador for leading industry brands Ortofon and Ecler, showcasing just what their technology is capable of in the right pair of hands. He regularly appears for them at international trade shows and features prominently in their advertising campaigns both in press and on screen. With Toolroom knighting Sonny “a certified member of the house music elite”, the continued success of his own ‘Sound Of Whartone’ events in London and forthcoming collaborations with X-Press 2 and DJ Chus the future is looking bright!

17th Aug: Guest TBA.

24th Aug: The Gallery with Robbie Rivera and Gavyn Mytchell.

The Gallery tonight is headlined by hosue legend Robbie Rivera and Gavyn Mytchell.

Roberto Louis Rivera, better known as Robbie Rivera, is a prolific house music producer and DJ born in Puerto Rico. He has an extensive catalogue of original productions and remixes to his credit, ranging from Tribal to Progressive House, as well as incorporating Garage and Latin elements.

31st Aug: Guest TBA.

7th Sept: Whorehouse with Prok & Fitch and Hoxton Whores.

Coming together in ’06 after years of experience as solo artists, Prok & Fitch has shaken up the house world with releases on Stealth and Subversive tearing up the best dance floors across the globe.  Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke and David Guetta have played their tunes, and Global Gathering have booked their DJing services, so tonight’s a great opportunity to experience one of their melodic journeys on Evoke’s amazing new sound system.

Hoxton Whores meanwhile have worked with, remixed and collaborated with some of the scene’s leading stars such as Deep Dish, Faithless, Robbie Rivera, Danny Howells and Moloko.
