This year’s festival celebrates a decade which has seen the festival grow from a one-day, 3,500 attendance event across two stages in 2004, to a two-day festival with six stages of live bands, DJs, Fairground Rides, Street Performers and with a capacity of 10,000 people per day. Some of the festival’s most memorable moments include Main Stage performances from Noel GallagherThe ProdigySnow Patrol, MadnessPaul Weller and Kasabian, and the festival has had a knack for picking artists at early stages in their careers before seeing them go on to become household names. Ed Sheeran and Jake Bugg famously performed sets to audiences of just hundreds on the smaller stages at Jersey Live, while Tinie Tempah appeared on the Main Stage before going on to become an arena artist in his own right.

With a number of artists already confirmed and waiting to be announced, it’s an exciting time for the festival organisers, who expect this year’s 10th birthday party to be the biggest and best Jersey Live yet. They recently announced that this year’s festival will introduce the Folklore Stage amongst its six stages, adding a brand new dimension to the festival with alternative and leftfield bands, comedy and spoken word, inspired by Jersey’s alternative festival Folklore, which was last year headlined by Van Morrison and Ray Davies. Its other stages are the Main Stage, Dance Stage, JT Stage, Hospitality Stage and Full Flow Locale Tent, with performances from over 60 bands and DJs over the festival’s two days.

Co-organiser Warren Le Sueur

“Plans are starting to gather pace now with a lot of acts booked and many more close to confirming, and as we head into spring, it definitely feels like that time of year where festival fever starts to kick in; getting the first tickets on sale feels like the start of the countdown to the big weekend. We want this to be our most fun and biggest event yet so we look forward to seeing everyone there!”

Tamara O’Brien Head of Marketing & Brand at JT, said:

“We are delighted to once again join together with the organisers of Jersey Live in this important anniversary year.  We look forward to supporting them in staging what promises to be yet another successful music festival for Jersey and for islanders.

“We are proud of how Jersey Live has grown, but it is equally important to us that our sponsorship is meaningful and that the benefits have reached beyond the commercial opportunities. Primarily this partnership has been forged between two organisations that have the community at their heart with a goal of providing a fun day out and an opportunity to be with friends and family having fun.

“Once again JT will have a number promotional ticket offers which we started when we became headline sponsors eight years ago to provide JT customers with the opportunity to enjoy complimentary weekend tickets to Jersey Live and who are also rewarded with extras at the event like VIP access during the festival weekend.

“All festival goers are welcome to join us at the JT stage where live bands will be performing exclusively, or just take a break from the festival and relax in our chill out area while watching the main stage on the JT screen.”
