Deezer, one of the world’s premier music streaming services, is excited to announce that it will be partnering with the Manchester Jazz Festival, a true highlight of the North West’s summer season taking place 13-21 July 2012. The collaboration will provide Jazz fans with even more curated content and enable Manchester Jazz Festival revelers to listen to Deezer’s 18 million tracks from the festival’s website.
Manchester Jazz Festival, a stunning celebration of the best and newest in contemporary jazz, will return to the city centre 13-21 July for its 17th year.Unlike any other event on the jazz festival circuit, the Manchester Jazz Festival offers a fascinating journey of discovery through the world of jazz today.
Deezer’s partnership with the festival will see the launch of the Manchester Jazz Festival radio channel on Deezer’s website and apps. Curated by the experts behind Manchester Jazz Festival, the radio channel will feature the coolest new sounds in jazz from the finest musicians from the North West and around the world. The radio channel will also be available on Manchester Jazz Festival’s website and facebook page via a Deezer widget. Furthermore, fans of the festival can listen to the tracks from key artists from the event’s impressive programme on the Manchester Jazz Festival website.
Deezer will also be running a series of competitions across their social media platforms to give fans and followers a chance to win tickets to the Manchester Jazz Festival.

The collaboration follows Deezer’s successful media partnership with Jazz FM that began in December last year. The partnership offers even more Jazz recommendations to Deezer’s users.
