Dear Festivalgoer, With just a month to go to our big event, we are very excited to announce two major new additions to this year's festival line-up.

First up and fresh from their recent triumph at The Royal Albert Hall, The Straits, comprising former members of the supergroup, Dire Straits, will perform a one hour show of Dire Straits' greatest hits on Cornbury's main stage on Sunday 3rd July. They join the mighty Status Quo and the irresistible Olly Murs for a fantastic festival finale.

We are thrilled to have landed an exclusive festival performance by The Straits at Cornbury.  I was lucky enough to see their recent Albert Hall show which was fantastic - great to be reminded of their distinct sound and those great songs.

Also with our new media partner, Absolute Radio, we're launching the Absolute Radio Comedy Tent with a mesmerising comedy line-up to provide big laughs and an authentic comedy festival experience.  The tent will be live on the weekend and hosted by antipodean joke machine, Jarred Christmas.

Comedy stand-up acts will include Josh Widdecomb (winner of FHM Stand-up Hero, Stand-up for the week); Elis James (Dave's One Night Stand); Ed Gamble (Dave's One Night Stand); Sara Pascoe (Campus, Free Agents); Holly Walsh (Michael McIntyres' Comedy Roadshow); Tony Law, Jason Cook, and comedy legend, Sean Hughes.

Musical comedy will include Frisky and Mannish; Abandomen; and IsySuttie (Peep Show, Dave's One Night Stand); plus Gareth Richards along with the best in sketch comedy, the outstanding double act, Cardinal Burns.

For those wanting a short break from the music, what better than a good laugh in the comedy tent.

Other musical gems we've added to the line-up include rocking troublemakers, the hotly tipped Vintage Trouble; local heroes, Little Fish; and Jackson Scott's masterful combo, Mano de Dios.

Looking forward to welcoming you to our beautiful new site.
