Bearded Theory is a indie and alternative, family-friendly music festival set within the lush surrounds of Catton Hall in the heart of the National Forest.  A family-orientated festival at heart, the festival showcases various astute sounds to keep all ages engrossed from start to finish.

Unlike many festival's Bearded Theory actively listens to the views of the festival goers, this is reflected in the quality of the line up and the on site facilities for both young and old. The festival has a wonderful selection of food traders and a real ale and cider bar to die for.

Artists who have appeared at Bearded Theory include: Placebo, Patti Smith& Band, Flaming Lips, Suede, The Cult, The Doves, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, Jimmy Cliff, and Sleaford Mobs.
