Alternative rock outfit LIVINGSTON have signed a record deal with Long Branch Records and will release their new album 'Animal' this September. The bands first single 'Human' is out now.

For their latest album 'Animal', the band decided to do the whole recording process themselves from a little cottage, a hunter's cabin in the woods just outside Berlin. Lead singer Beukes Willemse explains, "For the first time in our careers there was never actually a thought process in making the record. No game-plan as such. The only thing it had to be was come naturally and easily from each of the four of us with no outside compromise. So, we found a house in the woods an hour outside Berlin miles from the closest neighbour, and went there for 10 days of every month of last year without playing a single note to anyone. The only thing it had to be was not influenced by anyone outside the four of us."

Willemse goes on to add, "All my career people have said to me that our live show is better than our records. I am very proud of that. I think it would be fair to expect the same of this record, except to say that with this record we have considerably raised the bar when it come to the music."
