Whether guests choose to bring their own picnics or enjoy the delicious pre-prepared picnic hampers by Carluccio’s, Tatton Park Picnic Concerts allows guests to define their own magical experiences. With the estate’s interesting history of music – the mansion boasts a stunning dedicated music room with a 1789 harpsichord – Tatton Park is the perfect destination for an incredible night of entertainment.
No barbecues, garden flares or lanterns are allowed in the park.
No dogs (except guide dogs - please take care during the firework displays) are allowed.
Seating is not provided, so please bring a rug, cushion or a lightweight garden chair.
Gazebos are not permitted in the arena.
Non-drivers please ensure that you make prior arrangements for returning home. Taxis should be booked in advance to collect you from the drop off point near the concert site - Rostherne Gate is 1 mile from the concert site, Knutsford Gate 1/2 mile from the concert site.
Performances are subject to licence.
Once inside the park, please follow the directions of stewards at all times. The concert site is 15-20 minutes walk from the main parking area, so we advise that you do not bring too many heavy or bulky items.

Tatton Park is situated in the North West of England and is easily accessible from major roads and railways with good public transport links to the nearby town of Knutsford.
Knutsford Railway Station is situated half a mile from the Knutsford entrance to Tatton Park. It is a further two mile walk down the estate drive to the Mansion and Stableyard area where the Garden entrance is located along with Tatton’s speciality shops and Stables restaurant.
Local bus services are available to Knutsford including the number 27 from Macclesfield, 288 from Altrincham via Wilmslow and 289 from Northwich to Altrincham.
The number 27 Baker Bus drives up to the Mansion from Knutsford bus station from Good Friday to Sunday Aug 30th each sunday and bank holiday 3 times a day. Tel 01782 522101 for more information
Tatton Park is located 2 miles north of Knutsford and 15 miles south west of Manchester City Centre. Tatton Park is signposted on and from the M6, Junction 19, and M56, Junction 7. Signposted on and from the A556 and A50.
