Organised by the non-profit voluntary group the Solway Trust, and Making the most of Maryport’s beautiful harbour and strong maritime tradition, this new summer festival really will offer fun for all the family! With great enthusiasm they can confirm that an expanded, three day, Harbour Festival; incorporating the Annual Trawler Race, family funfair and live music marquee will take place at Maryport Harbour from the 24th to 26th May.

With a terrific entertainment roster planned and a diverse section of vendors, stalls and exhibitions, they’re elated that the much-anticipated family event will bring amazement, excitement and fun to the local area over the bank holiday weekend.

Aside from a fantastic lineup of music inside the harbourside Marquee, the festival site itself is free for visitors to come and experience and explore. Providing fun and entertainment for all the family there will be a full spring fair, the annual trawler race as well as a whole host of diverse stalls and vendors to investigate and discover!

Artists booked to appear include Mostly Autumn, Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash, The Bullfrogs, and Blondied.
