Beacon Festival 2016 Overview

Beacon Festival returns to Watlington Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, in June.

A boutique family event celebrating the longest day of summer high up on The Chiltern Hills of South Oxfordshire. It may be the furthest point from the sea but there will be a hot, holiday feel to this event, sparking the epitome of summer with a weekend of enlightened entertainment and the best sunset for miles!

Beacon festival brings a new vibe to a legendary place. Staged at Watlington Hill Farm, the site of the infamous Music On The Hill (MOTH) festival, Lindsay Howard-Dean who took over the farm from her parents a few years ago had the idea to re-ignite the flame, and with some gentle persuasion and a bit of arm twisting, put together a crack team of organisers.

The festival will host three stages and some of the regions finest gourmets and gastronomical delights, real ale, local cider and cocktail bars, a creative shopping experience, art exhibition, workshops, a fun-filled children’s zone, relaxing holistic therapy,  and of course camping including posh tents for that extra bit of luxury.

Artists booked to appear include:
Not The Rolling Stones, and UK Foo Fighters Tribute. Other acts include Lowly Hounds, Dubvocaliza, Kamikaze Test Pilots, Dubwiser.
