Off The Tracks Spring Festival 2012 has undergone a slight reshuffle to its line-up.

Seismic Survey, the acoustic side-project led by The Levellers’ guitarist Simon Friend, will now appear on Saturday, May 26, at the festival at Donington Park Farmhouse, Isley Walton, instead of Sunday, May 27.

The switch follows the cancellation of The Levellers’ own dates in May due to a hand injury sustained by fiddle player Jon Sevink.

Off The Tracks director Andy Borys says: “We were all very sorry to hear about Jon’s injury, but it does mean Simon has different commitments now, so it made sense for us to move Seismic Survey to the Saturday evening.”

Friend himself says: “I’m really looking forward to Off The Tracks this time. It’s been a while since I played the festival with The Levellers, and it’ll be great to play with the Survey team again on familiar terrain.”

Seismic Survey’s lineup is completed by Mick Doyle (Neverland), Paul Miro (Apes, Pigs & Spacemen) and Andy Cooper (No Right Turn).

Saturday night at Off The Tracks is headlined by space rock legends Hawkwind, whose frontman David Brock and his wife have more than musical reasons to be anticipating a return to the area.

Brock says: "We’re really looking forward to our return to both Off The Tracks and Donington Park Farmhouse. I have fond memories of the venue – it’s where we got married and held our own Hawkfest in 2007, after discovering the place when we played OTT the previous year."

Kasai Masai move from Saturday to the Sunday line-up, headlined by Dub Pistols and Warsaw Village Band. The former Dr Feelgood and Blockheads guitarist Wilko Johnson tops the bill on Friday, May 25.                                                                                                            …/

One lucky fan will also have an autographed copy of Johnson’s forthcoming autobiography  ‘Looking Back At Me’ presented to them in person by the man himself, in a competition being run through the festival’s Facebook page.

Advance weekend tickets are now on sale priced £70. Advance youth tickets are £40 (12-16 years old). Admission is free for under-12s. Full-day and evening-only tickets are also now available.

With a handful of performers still to be announced, the full line-up will include more than 40 artists on two stages, as well as 70+ real ales, ciders and perries, excellent camping facilities and a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere.
